Jeremy Audet

The author.

I work as a Senior Software Quality Engineer at Red Hat, and have been with the company since 2014, minus an absence in 2018–2019 for education. My primary skill set is in software engineering, with a focus on automated testing. I'm especially proficient with Python, and have many years of practical experience with Linux.

I've earned an M.S. in software engineering and an A.S. in computer engineering from Vermont Technical College. My M.S. final project was killjoy, an application for monitoring systemd unit state changes.

My full work and education history is captured on LinkedIn.

Outside of work, I enjoy a strenuous lift, hike, or bike ride; game nights with friends; quality time with family; sinking into a good book; and doting on my houseplants. I believe in the importance of democratic technologies, and have maintained Arch Linux AUR packages and edited the ArchWiki, OpenStreetMap, and MusicBrainz.
